He has also given presentations at national conferences on defective construction in residential construction and water infiltration investigations. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineer’s Technical Council on Forensic Engineering.
About Us
Timothy J. Dickson, P.E. S.E.
Mr. Dickson has over twenty years experience in the field of structural engineering which includes: structural design, field investigations, forensics, expert testimony and laboratory studies. His design and evaluation experience includes buildings and bridges constructed of reinforced concrete (conventional, prestressed and post-tensioned), structural steel, masonry and timber. He has also designed underpinning systems for the foundations of residential and commercial properties, as well as earth retention systems using soil nail walls, segmental retaining walls and sheet piles. Mr. Dickson has also performed numerous investigations for the evaluation of property loss and construction defect claims. These investigations have included structural failure/collapse, fire/storm damage assessment, water infiltration, roofing failure, building façade evaluations and construction problems.
